Virtual Escape Rooms
Is your family Harry Potter fans? My family is.
Last night we did this on-line Harry Potter escape room and we had so much fun. It took us about 20 minutes to complete. Actually, it took about 40 minutes if you count the time it took to get us all in one room.
Here is a link to the fun. Harry Potter Escape Room
For our families with younger students, here is a Pete the Cat escape room for you to try. Pete the Cat and the Birthday Surprise.
There is a lot of reading involved in these escape rooms so it is recommended to be done with someone who is a good reader.
Please leave a comment below to tell me that you enjoyed the escape rooms and I can post more if there is interest.
Mrs. Lachapelle's Class Art Work
Mrs. Lachapelle challenged her students to go on Art for Kids Hub to use the instructional videos to create some awesome art.
Have a look.

Backyard Explorers
Mrs. Voo's grade 2/3 class has been assigned a set of activities called Backyard Explorers as part of home learning. Last week's task was to go out and sit and listen in the yard. They watched a video about bird songs, and Ally found this! Since next Wednesday is Earth Day, I encourage every ICPS family to go outside and look for signs of spring. When you find something take a picture of it and send it to vdegeer@scdsb.on.ca and I will make an Earth Day slide show for us all to enjoy.
Marble Track Creation
My son and I created marble tracks out of recycled material. I challenge you to create your own marble track and send me pictures or videos to vdegeer@scdsb.on.ca.
I will display your creations for the whole ICPS community to see, just like two of our ICPS eagles have here in this picture.
Greetings from the staff at ICPS
All the staff are missing our students very much. The kids are why we look forward to coming to school each day. Teachers don't feel like teachers without their students. That is why we created this short video. Please enjoy watching the staff at ICPS reaching out to you from a distance and know that we look forward to when we can see you all again.
