Make Your Own Video Game

Coding is the language of computers and a coder is someone who can write in this language.

There are many programs out there that make coding fun for kids but coding can also be very frustrating which is why coding also builds problem solving skills and resilience.

If your child is spending too much time on digital technology, put this time to good use.  Try one of these free coding websites:

Scratch (ages 6-12)

Code.org (ages 4-15)

Code Combat (ages 10+)

Code Academy (ages 14+)
